The Pest House Or "Isolation Hospital" On St. Helens.
 If Any Vessels Had Sick Crew Aboard They
 Could Anchor In St. Helens Pool. They Were Obliged
To Transfer Them To The Isolation Hospital Before They
Could Continue Their Passage. You Either Recovered Or Died !
I Don't Think There Is Any Actual Evidence That It Was
Ever Used.
